Att personliga nätverk och kontakter är viktigt vet vi alla, många av dagens rekryteringar sker via kontakter och inte den “dekomkratiska” vägen via ams.

Är det då ett hot mot demokratin eller en förutsättning att vara med på den internationella arenan att delta i på ett inofficiellt möte med utvalda mötesdeltagare och en hemlig agenda eller är det bara så att “viktiga” personer som inte får delta blir avundsjuka? Trots allt sker väl mycket av åsiktsutbyten i dagens politik under så odemokratiska former som i fikarummet eller diskussioner efter möten etc.

Hur som helst är jag mest avundsjuk på att de får åka till Istanbul. En underbar stad med billig mat, bra shoppingmöjligheter och inte att förglömma en enorm flora av spännandes företag att importera ifrån. Ett tips bara, försök att hitta hotell så långt som möjligt från en minaret.
